Franz Anton (Selection)
The fruit for our "Selection" wines grows at several alitudes in various volcanic soils of the Kaiserstuhl. We pay close attention to strictly reduced yields: we halve bunches on the vine, select during harvest and vinify carefully. Maturation in wood underlines the minerality of these wines which is so characteristic for the Kaiserstuhl volcanic soils. The wines show varietal typicity and length, they are uncomplicated and fantastic food wines.
